Rijiju said that the proposal to remove Justice Yashwant Verma should be signed by all political parties. For this, I have already talked to all senior leaders of various political parties. I will also contact some single MP parties, because I do not want to leave any member. When asked if the Congress had agreed to support the proposal, the Parliamentary Affairs Minister said, “Yes, I am happy that he should understand things as he should understand, because no party can stand with a corrupt judge nor would he like to defend a corrupt judge.”
Let us tell you that the central government is going to bring impeachment motion against Justice Verma in the monsoon session of Parliament. This proposal requires the signature of 100 MPs. On the other hand, Justice Verma has filed a petition in the Supreme Court to dismiss the report of the inquiry commission against him. He has said in the argument that the CJI of the apex court in the constitution has not been given the right to take action on the High Court or its judges. Along with this, he also alleged that my image was tarnished through media trials.
