The news of the newspaper suggests that the provision made in the budget for Ayushman India is being spent even less. In the year 2024, 7200 crores were given in the budget for Ayushman India. It was then revised to 6800 crores. Whereas, the expenditure was 6670 crores. This year, the budget presented by Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in Parliament has been kept at Rs 9406 crore for Ayushman Bharat. The reason for this is that the scope of the scheme has been increased for people of all 70 years or older. At the same time, Ayushman Bharat scheme will also be implemented in Odisha and Delhi.
