Kolkata Doctor Rape And Murder Case: 'Senior police officer tried to bribe', serious allegation by the father of the rape and murder victim doctor, Police tried to bribe me, alleges father of doctor who was raped and killed in RG Kar Medical College, Kolkata

Kolkata. A doctor was raped and murdered on the night of August 8 and 9 at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, the capital of West Bengal. The doctor’s father has now alleged that a senior police officer tried to offer him money, which he refused. On Wednesday, the doctor’s parents took part in the protest against their daughter’s rape and murder for the first time. The doctor’s father said that he does not know how his daughter’s body was taken away the night after the incident. He said that he did not want to perform the last rites, but he was pressurized.

The doctor’s father said that the family was made to sit in the police station for an hour. When they went home, there were 400 policemen there. They don’t even know who paid for the cremation expenses. The doctor’s father said that when the daughter’s body was handed over, a senior police officer also tried to give money. He said that no one from the RG Kar Medical College administration talked to him. The doctor’s father said that the police tried to suppress the case without a thorough investigation. He alleged that without any investigation it was said that the doctor had committed suicide. The doctor’s father said that when the family reached RG Kar Medical College on 9 August at 12.10 pm, they were made to sit outside the seminar hall for 3 hours to see the daughter’s body.

The CBI is investigating the murder of the doctor in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College. So far, one accused Sanjay Rai has been arrested in this case. The doctor’s family is continuously making allegations. This time they have also made a serious allegation that the police officer wanted to give money to suppress the case. In such a situation, Kolkata Police can once again come under target. There is a continuous protest in this case. Due to which West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee is also coming under target.
