New Delhi. Monojo Mishra, one of the three accused caught in the gang rape case of a student at Kolkata Law College, who is an alumnus of this college, has come to the fore with the ruling Trinamool Congress. He is the General Secretary of South Kolkata district of Trinamool Congress Students Council. Monojit is also being described as the main accused. On the other hand, the National Commission for Women has written a letter to the Kolkata Police Commissioner, taking automatic cognizance in the gang rape case and has sought a report of detailed action in three days. On the other hand, the BJP has surrounded the state Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee over the Trinamool leader of gang rape.

BJP leader Amit Malviya wrote in a post on his social media account that the people of West Bengal should ask themselves a difficult question, are daughters and sisters safe under Mamata Banerjee’s rule? The answer is clear, no. Not in Sandeshkhali, where women were exploited for years. Not in Malda or Siliguri, where violence against women is common. Not even in the Medical College of Central Kolkata, and not in the major law college of Kolkata. Not in villages, not in cities, sisters and daughters are not safe anywhere, because under the rule of Mamata Banerjee, the rapes are not punished, not punishment. Mamta Banerjee’s party, accused of cruelty from a law college student, is from Mamata Banerjee’s party and she will have to save her to survive politically.
West bengal must ask itself a hard question:
Are our Daughters and Sister Safe Under Mamata Bnerjee’s Rule? The answer is horifyingly clear: no.

The BJP leader alleged that TMC does not ignore the cases of rape, but she uses it, to silence, to suppress, to dominate. For TMC leaders, rape is not a crime, it is a political weapon. Along with this, Amit Malviya appealed to the people and said that if you want to keep the women of your homes safe, then make Mamata Banerjee out of power.
