New Delhi. A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court regarding the gang rape case with a law student at Law College, Kolkata. In this petition, it has been requested to the Supreme Court that the court should investigate the case under its supervision. Supreme Court lawyer Satyam Singh has also raised a demand in his petition to make a time limit for investigation and provide financial compensation and security to the victim student. The petitioner has also mentioned what can be done in this case by Trinamool Congress MP Kalyan Banerjee in which he said that if a friend is raped, what can be done in it.
Let us tell you that the BJP is constantly surrounded by the Trinamool Congress government of West Bengal regarding this matter. BJP leaders are seeking resignation from Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee. He says that even during the reign of a woman Chief Minister, daughters, sisters are insecure in Bengal. In this case, Kolkata Police has arrested four people, one of which is Pinaki Banerjee, a security guard of Law College. The victim lodged the police in her complaint that while the accused were dragging me and taking me to the guard room, the security stood uncomfortable there, she did not help me.
The main accused in the case is Monojo Mishra, an alumnus of Law College, who is currently the District General Secretary of the Trinamool Congress Students Wing. He proposed to the student for marriage, but when the student refused to marry her, she along with two of her colleagues in the guard room in the college campus, along with the current students Jab Ahmed and Pramit Mukherjee, along with the student. Not only this, he also tried to kill him with a hockey stick. The police have also arrested these three accused.
