Kumbh Mela will be held in Nashik in 2027! CM Fadnavis said- all challenges will be removed

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis said on Sunday that preparations for the Kumbh Mela to be held in Nashik in 2027 are moving slowly with expected. He described it as a “faith and technology”.

Addressing a program of ‘CII Young Indians’ in Nashik, Fadnavis accepted the challenges related to the Kumbh to be held on a large scale, although also expressed confidence of removing them.

The Chief Minister said that the work on the infrastructure is currently lagging behind the time, but the situation is improving.

He said, “We started preparations for the Kumbh Mela last year. If we had started working in 2020, today we would have been in a better position. ”

Fadnavis said that progress is being made by taking advantage of the experience of successful Kumbh Mela in Prayagraj.

He said, “In the year 2015, Nashik hosted the Kumbh Mela. This time, efforts are on to develop Nashik and Trimbakeshwar. ‘

Describing the upcoming religious event in Nashik as ‘Akha of Faith and Technology’, Fadnavis highlighted that integration of modern technology, including artificial intelligence (AI) and mob management system, would provide a great experience for attendees.

He said, “This program will be held on 300 acres, which is much smaller than 7,500 hectares of Prayagraj.”
