Kunal further said, “There will be bare around, there will be riots around, the police will have a day, Nathuram in the mind, the acts, we will be a pauper one day. Kunal shared this video at a time when Shiv Sainiks are already furious on him. Even Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had bluntly stated on Kunal Kamra’s comment on Eknath Shinde that he would not tolerate insult to anyone in the name of comedy. He also said that Kunal should apologize to Shinde.
Earlier today Eknath Shinde also gave his response to the matter. He had said that we understand satire but it should be in a limit. There is freedom of expression but it is like taking ‘betel nut’ to speak against someone. Let me tell you that by changing the lyrics of one such song in his comedy show, Kunal Kamra had targeted Eknath Shinde without naming and called him a traitor. After that video went viral, Shiv Sainiks vandalized the studio where Kunal’s show suit was done. At the same time, BMC also launched a hammer on the illegal construction of the studio.
