However, the court has also set conditions for bail. While granting bail to all on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh each, the court has ordered Lalu, Tej and Tejashwi to surrender their passports. The next hearing of the case will now be on October 25. Taking cognizance of the charge sheet filed by the Enforcement Directorate (ED), the court had issued appearance summons to Lalu Yadav and his two sons.

At the same time, after getting bail, Tejashwi Yadav said that as part of a political conspiracy, an attempt is being made to implicate him and his family by misusing the investigating agencies. There is nothing concrete in this matter, our victory is certain. In this case, Lalu Yadav’s wife and former Chief Minister of Bihar Rabri Devi, her two daughters Misa Bharti and Hema Yadav have also been made accused. All three have already been granted conditional bail. Although ED has not made Lalu’s elder son and former Bihar Education Minister Tej Pratap an accused in this case in its charge sheet, the court had issued summons to him for appearance on September 18. The court had said that Tej Pratap is also a member of the Lalu family, hence his role in the case cannot be denied.
Let us tell you that this scam happened between 2004 and 2009 during the tenure of the UPA government when Lalu Yadav was the Union Railway Minister. It is alleged that instead of giving jobs to the youth of Bihar in Group D recruitment in Railways, their ancestral land was taken away. According to ED, companies named AB Exports and AK Infosystems were used in the game of taking land in exchange for jobs. AK Infosystems first bought the lands of 11 people for Rs 1.89 crore. Later, AK Infosystems Company was transferred to the name of Lalu Yadav’s family at a price of only Rs 1 lakh.
