New Delhi. RJD supremo Lalu Yadav’s difficulty is increasing. The Enforcement Directorate i.e. ED has summoned Lalu Yadav again for questioning. The ED wants to inquire into the job scam case in exchange for land from Lalu Yadav. The CBI investigated the alleged job scam in exchange for land. The ED had earlier sent summons to Rabri Devi and elder son Tej Pratap Yadav for questioning today. Lalu Yadav was also questioned by the ED earlier. Now the investigating agency says that new evidence has been found and RJD supremo is to be questioned again in this regard.
Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi, elder daughter Misa Bharti, daughter Hema Yadav and son Tejashwi Yadav are also accused in this case. All have been granted bail by the Rouse Avenue Court of Delhi. The ED has started an investigation by registering a case under money laundering in the job scam case instead of land. Lalu Yadav was the Railway Minister during the UPA government at the center. Lalu Yadav is accused of distributing jobs in the railway by providing people to their family members at that time. The CBI has presented a charge sheet in the court in this case. Apart from Lalu, his family members, the CBI has also accused many railway officials of job scam in exchange for land. There are 30 accused in total.
Lalu Yadav was a Railway Minister in the UPA government at the Center from 2004 to 2009. Lalu Yadav and his family claim that they did not take land from anyone for a job in railway. At the same time, the CBI has claimed in the charge sheet filed in the court that many people who have got jobs by giving land have testified. On 15 March, the court framed charges in the job scam case instead of land. Now everyone is eyeing what action the ED takes after interrogation of Lalu Yadav and his family members.
