According to media reports, Aftab Poonawala is now under threat from Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Taking these news seriously, the jail administration has increased the security of Aftab. According to sources, Tihar Jail administration has taken additional steps regarding the security of Aftab Poonawala keeping in mind the reports going on in the media. Poonawala is lodged in number-4 of Tihar Jail. Although no official information has been received from Mumbai Police in this regard, the jail administration has become completely alert.

Murder conspiracy revealed
Media reports have claimed that jailed Baba Siddiqui murder accused Shiv Kumar Gautam has informed the police that he wants to kill Aftab. Apart from this, Aftab Lawrence is also the target of shooters of Bishnoi gang. According to sources in Tihar Jail, a conspiracy to murder Aftab Poonawala is being hatched inside the jail itself.
What was Shraddha Walker murder case?
The Shraddha Walker murder case took place in Chhatarpur area of Delhi in May 2022. In this heinous case, Shraddha was murdered and her body was cut into more than 30 pieces. Accused Aftab Poonawala is accused of keeping Shraddha’s body in the fridge for three weeks and later throwing it in different areas. This matter came to light when Shraddha’s father filed her missing report.
Increased security in Tihar Jail
Tihar administration has taken several steps for the security of Aftab Poonawala. Surveillance around him has been increased inside the jail and he has been kept in a separate barrack. The jail administration is keeping vigil to avoid any possible danger.
