New Delhi. Major information has come to light in the case of brutal murder of seven people in the terrorist attack in Ganderbal. According to information received from sources by ABP News, the bullets recovered from the incident site are of MP6 rifle, which is usually manufactured in China and Türkiye. This confirms that the attackers were foreign terrorists, who may have infiltrated into the state from Poonch or Gurez.
If these terrorists were local, they would have used AK-47 or 9mm pistols, which are commonly used by local terror groups. This fact further strengthens the fact that the attackers were outsiders.

Timing of attack is important
The timing of this terrorist attack is also considered very important, because this attack was carried out just a night before the swearing-in of all the newly elected MLAs. Experts believe that the aim of the terrorists was to show that militancy is still not completely over in the valley. In this attack, the terrorists mainly targeted non-local people, but some local citizens also became victims of this violent incident.
TRF took responsibility
TRF (The Resistance Front) has taken responsibility for this attack. According to Indian security officials, TRF has been established by Pakistan-backed terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Taiba. This organization includes terrorists of Lashkar and Jaish-e-Mohammed. TRF has been involved in several attacks involving the killing of Kashmiri Pandits, Muslims and Hindus. This organization is trying to spread instability in Jammu and Kashmir and disrupt the government schemes there.

TRF activities increased after removal of Section 370
Notably, the terrorist activities of TRF have increased after the removal of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir in 2019. In many cases, TRF has taken responsibility for the attacks rather than Lashkar-e-Taiba. The main objective of this organization is to target Kashmiri Pandits, government officials, migrant workers and security forces. TRF is continuously trying to maintain instability in Kashmir as well as obstruct the rehabilitation plans.
The attack is clearly an attempt to sabotage efforts to restore peace in the state and create an atmosphere of fear through terrorist activities.
