Madhu Koda And Lobin Hembram Join BJP: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda joins BJP, another big JMM leader also joins BJP

New Delhi. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda joined BJP today. Lobin Hembrom, who was expelled from Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM), also joined BJP. BJP state president Babulal Marandi gave party membership to Koda and Hembrom. During this, former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, Leader of Opposition Amar Bauri and former MLA Sita Soren were also present.

Madhu Koda was elected as the 5th Chief Minister of Jharkhand on 18 September 2006. Koda also has a record in his name. Koda is the first Chief Minister of the country who was elected to this post while being an independent MLA. Madhu Koda’s wife Geeta Koda has already left Congress and joined BJP. Former JMM leader Lobin Hembrom, who joined BJP, was expelled by the party for 6 years before the Lok Sabha elections. Actually, Hembrom had filed nomination as an independent candidate in the Lok Sabha elections against JMM. Due to this, action was taken against him. Now Lobin Hembrom has joined BJP.

Three big leaders of Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have joined BJP so far. First of all, Hemant Soren’s sister-in-law Sita Soren left JMM and joined BJP due to resentment. After her, former Chief Minister of the state and JMM’s strong leader Champai Soren also formally joined BJP yesterday, although he had announced joining BJP a few days ago. Now Lobin Hembram has also taken membership of BJP. This may create problems for JMM in the state assembly elections to be held by the end of this year.
