Prayagraj. On January 29, 30 people died due to a stampede at Mahakumbh in Prayagraj. 36 devotees were injured in the accident. Taking this incident seriously, UP CM Yogi Adityanath has formed a judicial commission for investigation. At the same time, now the news channel Aaj Tak has quoted sources as saying that investigation has also started from the angle of conspiracy in the stampede in Mahakumbh. All the mobile numbers present on the spot have been found closed at the time of the incident. After this, under the conspiracy, the task of investigating the stampede in Mahakumbh has been entrusted to UP STF. Quoting Prayagraj’s DIG Vaibhav Krishna, the channel has said that many such inputs have been found, due to which the police suspect the conspiracy behind the stampede.

UP CM Yogi Adityanath visited Mahakumbh on Saturday and took stock. At that time, he had also instructed the officers to stop the elements trying to disturb the Jhunsi area. In fact, after the stampede near Sangam Noj, some journalists and a woman social media influencer on social media claimed that there was a stampede in Jhunsi area as well. However, the Prayagraj administration says that there is no information about any stampede in Jhansi. In such a situation, CM Yogi Adityanath has now asked the administration and police to keep an eye on the Jhunsi area.
Mahakumbh 2025 is to have a royal bath of saints on the occasion of Basant Panchami tomorrow i.e. 3 February. 13 Akhara, Naga Sadhu and other saints will take a dip in the confluence in Brahma Muhurta during this period. Apart from this, devotees are also expected to come in a number of crores of devotees to take the holy bath of Basant Panchami. CM Yogi has asked the administration to make flower proof arrangements for this. Along with this, these instructions have also been given that devotees do not have to walk long distances for bathing. In such a situation, the arrangements are being changed at the Mahakumbh site of Prayagraj. A separate route is also being built for the arrival and going of bathing people.
