Noida. There was a meeting between the residents and officers of Paschimanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited (PVVNL) at the club house of Mahagun Mejaria, Noida Sector 78, UP. The meeting was led by SDO of Work Circle-1. This meeting was called after information that some residents of Mahagun Mejaria sent an application to PVVNL. This application requested the society’s power supply to be converted from single point connection to multi-point connection.
Accused of fake signature in the application
During the discussion with PVVNL officials, several residents alleged that there were fake signatures in the application and the signatures’ signatures were also included in it. While the consent letter was only for viability evaluation. In the meeting, the residents also alleged that PVVNL accidentally accepted the feasibility request to confirm the conversion.
Under UPERC rules request conversion
Most of the residents present in the meeting told PVVNL officials that they were not in favor of adaptation. He urged PVVNL to strictly follow the provisions of the Uttar Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (UPERC) rules and get the real consent of the residents before starting any conversion process. PVVNL officials were formally requested by the residents not to start any conversion activity in Mahagun Mejaria until the appropriate process is completed as per UPERC guidelines.
