According to media reports, the Delhi government is going to do a big program to launch the Mahila Samman Yojana on March 8. CM Rekha Gupta is also going to call big leaders of BJP in this program. Some media reports have told that on March 8, Rekha Gupta’s Delhi government will also send the first installment of Rs 2500 to the accounts of some poor women.
Delhi CM Rekha Gupta announced after the results of the Delhi Assembly elections that the first installment of Rs 2500 will be given in the account of poor women of the capital on March 8 under the Mahila Samman Yojana. However, registration for Mahila Samman Yojana has not yet started. CM Rekha Gupta of Delhi can start registration for Mahila Samman Yojana from Monday i.e. March 3. So that on March 8, its first installment can be sent to some women’s accounts. BJP’s Delhi government intends that the amount of Mahila Samman Yojana should be sent to the accounts of all eligible women in March itself.
Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor VK Saxena also mentioned the Mahila Samman Yojana during his address in the assembly. This year will require Rs 11000 crore for Delhi’s Mahila Samman Yojana. CM Rekha Gupta had alleged that the earlier Aam Aadmi Party government has vacated the treasury of Delhi. CM Rekha Gupta had said that despite this, the BJP government is going to fulfill all the promises including Mahila Samman Yojana. The BJP government has also promised that every pregnant woman in Delhi will be given Rs 21000 and 6 nutrition kits. It is also expected to spend a lot of money on this.
