President Murmu took a dip in the confluence
The country’s first citizen President Draupadi Murmu reached Mahakumbh on Monday and took a dip of faith in Triveni Sangam. The President was welcomed by Governor Anandi Ben Patel and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. After this, President reached Sangam area. The President gave a strong foundation to Sanatan faith by taking a dip of faith in Triveni Sangam. People saw this historic moment of the country’s first citizen taking a holy dip in the confluence. The President will stay in the Sangam city for more than eight hours today.

After taking a holy bath, he also prayed in the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna and Saraswati rivers. Uttar Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel and Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also reached Sangam with President Murmu. In a statement released earlier by Rashtrapati Bhavan, it was said that after the holy bath, President Murmu will also visit Akshayavat and Hanuman Temple. “She will also visit the Digital Kumbh Experience Center,” the statement said.
