Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and other saints have appealed to the devotees to maintain self -discipline and bathe on their nearest ghats amidst the incident of stampede at Sangam nose at Prayagraj Mahakumbh on Mauni Amavasya.

According to a statement issued by the state government, prominent saints, including the Chief Minister of the state Yogi Adityanath, have issued an appeal in view of the increasing crowd of devotees who reached Mahakumbh Nagar for the holy dip in the Sangam.

CM Yogi has said that many ghats have been built for bathing. People can bathe there. He said that in this case take care of the rules of administration and do not get into any kind of rumor.

Leave a bath in the confluence

Along with CM Yogi, religious gurus have also appealed to the devotees. Swami Rambhadracharya appealed to the devotees who come to Mahakumbh to leave the request of bathing in the confluence and take a bath at the nearest ghat. People do not get out of their camp. Protect yourself and each other. He called upon all the akharas and devotees to avoid rumors as the prominent saint of the Vaishnava sect.

Take a bath carefully

Baba Ramdev has said that in view of this gathering of crores of devotees, we have only taken a symbolic bath. Along with this, the welfare of the entire nation and the world has been wished. He urged everyone not to flow in the excesses of devotion and take a bath carefully following self discipline. At the same time, Acharya Mahamandaleshwar Swami Awadheshanand Giri of Juna Arena also said that we have taken a symbolic bath at the moment.

Security of devotees is most important

President of Akhara Parishad Ravindra Puri said that at present more than 12 crore devotees are in Prayagraj. It is difficult to control the crowd in such a large number. We have millions of saints with us. Security of devotees is most important for us.
