However, if BJP’s NDA alliance had won the assembly elections in both Maharashtra and Jharkhand, it would have dealt a major blow to the Congress-led Indian alliance. Now that both the alliances seem to be getting power in one state each, the NDA and INDI alliances may continue to face each other.
