The Eknath Shinde government of the state had ordered this even before the dates of Maharashtra Assembly elections were announced. If this order had not been there, then this installment of Ladki Brahmin Yojana could not have been given in November itself under the Model Code of Conduct. The special thing is that CM Eknath Shinde has said that if the grand alliance of BJP-Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP forms the government again, then the amount of help under the Ladki Behna Scheme will be increased to Rs 2100.
The Mahayuti government of Maharashtra has recently started the work of giving Rs 2100 every month to women of poor sections under the Ladki Brahmin Yojana. CM Eknath Shinde says that Ladki Behna Yojana was started to make women economically stronger. CM Shinde says that he feels that the opposition may adopt tactics to weaken this scheme. In such a situation, he already made arrangements for payment to the women of Maharashtra. Let us tell you that providing financial assistance to poor women was started by the BJP government of Madhya Pradesh during the rule of Shivraj Singh Chouhan. It was also announced to bring such schemes in Congress ruled Karnataka, Himachal and Telangana.
Voting will be held on 288 seats in the Maharashtra Assembly elections on Wednesday, November 20. Elections are being conducted in Maharashtra in a single phase. Here the ruling BJP, Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena and Ajit Pawar’s NCP are in competition with Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena-UBT, Sharad Pawar’s NCP and Congress.
