New Delhi. There is a new movement in the politics of Maharashtra. NCP MLA Dhananjay Munde has resigned from the post of minister from Parli. Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis had asked Dhananjay Munde to be resigned due to the name of Beed’s sarpanch Santosh Deshmukh murder case, due to which he had to do so. On the other hand, CM Fadnavis says that Dhananjay Munde has submitted his resignation to me. I have accepted the resignation. It has been sent to the Governor for further action.

The SIT, who is investigating the sarpanch murder case, named Valmik Karad, a close associate of Dhananjay Munde as the main killer, in the charge sheet. Since then, resignation was being made on Dhananjay Munde. Now on the instructions of CM, he had to leave the post of Food and Civil Supplies Minister of Maharashtra. Earlier, Mande’s wife Karuna Sharma Munde had said that her husband would resign before the start of the budget session of Maharashtra Legislative Assembly. He had also claimed that NCP chief and state deputy CM Ajit Pawar had already resigned him.
Dhananjay Munde is the nephew of the late BJP leader Gopinath Munde. He entered politics only while living in the company of his uncle. Dhananjay Munde used to take over the responsibility of campaigning for Gopinath Munde. After the death of Gopinath, Dhananjay Munde submitted his claim from the Parli assembly seat as his successor. When the BJP gave ticket to Gopinath Munde’s daughter Pankaja Munde, Dhananjay Munde was fielded by the NCP party by giving tickets. Dhananjay defeated Pankaja Munde in this election. In this way he became an MLA for the first time. Later, when two factions were distributed in NCP, Dhananjay left Sharad Pawar and joined Ajit Pawar faction.
