On Friday, a passenger train collided with a standing goods train in Kavarapettai, Tamil Nadu, after which several coaches of the train derailed. Due to this, the movement of many trains has been disrupted. A high level investigation has been started in this matter by Indian Railways. The matter is also being investigated by the National Investigation Agency (NIA). This accident happened with Mysuru-Darbhanga Bagmati Superfast Express train.

18 trains have been canceled due to this accident. The officials have started investigation and are trying to find out whether this happened due to signal failure or there is some other reason.
Let us tell you that the passenger train was running at a speed of 80 km/h and suddenly collided with a goods train standing on the track. As of now, the Railway Ministry has not given any information about the people injured in this accident. It has been said that efforts are on to normalize the traffic.
