New Delhi. In the 2008 bomb blasts in Malegaon, Maharashtra, the NIA’s special court today made some strict comments while giving its verdict. Justice Lahoti said, there is no color or religion of terrorism. No religion advocates violence or terror. Justice Lahoti has also ordered a compensation of Rs 2 lakh to the families of those killed in the blast and Rs 50,000 to the injured.
Justice Lahoti said that the prosecution could not succeed in proving the allegations, so the case cannot be carried forward only on the basis of doubt. The judge called it a serious incident against the society and said, cannot blame anyone on morality only. With this, the court acquitted all the 7 accused including Sadhvi Pragya Thakur. At the same time, Advocate Ranjit Sangle, while giving information about the court’s decision, said that the motorcycle on which the explosive was kept, could not prosecute the prosecution of Sadhvi Pragya.
