Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge felt dizzy while addressing a public meeting in Jasrota belt of Jammu and Kashmir’s Kathua district on Sunday. Now his condition is stable and doctors are treating him. Party leaders gave this information. Kharge was paying tribute to the head constable martyred in the ongoing operation against terrorists in Kathua.

Two other policemen have been injured and a terrorist has been killed in this incident.
Congress general secretary Ghulam Ahmed Mir told PTI, “He was addressing a public rally in Jasrota when he felt uneasy and started feeling dizzy. His colleagues helped him to sit on the chair.”
He said that the condition of the Congress President is stable. Kharge had reached Jasrota to address a rally to garner support for his party’s candidates in the assembly elections. He is also scheduled to address another public rally in Ramnagar in Udhampur district.
Jammu and Kashmir Congress vice-president Ravindra Sharma said Kharge felt dizzy and was taken to a room, where doctors were called for examination. He said that doctors will advise whether he can participate in the second rally or not.
