New Delhi. Mamta Kulkarni has resigned from the post of Mahamandaleshwar of Kinnar Akhara. Mamta Kulkarni announced this by releasing the video on Instagram. He said, questions are being raised about my becoming Mahamandaleshwar, I am having problems with the Kinnar Akhara or both the akharas, due to which I am resigning from the post of Mahamandaleshwar Yamai Mamta Nand Giri Kinnar Akhara. Along with this, Mamta also said that she has been a sadhvi for 25 years and will remain Sadhvi even further. Mamta attended the Kinnar Arena in Prayagraj Mahakumbh, after which she was made Mahamandaleshwar.
Mamta Kulkarni said in her Insta video message, “My gurus, who have done severe penance, I do not see anyone like him.” I do not need to go to Kailash or Mansarovar. It would be better to speak less about those who object to me. Swami Ramdev and Dhirendra Shastri of Bageshwar Dham, including Shankaracharya, to be made Mamta Kulkarni as Mahamandaleshwar were also protested. Not only this, there was a lot of ruckus about this matter in the Kinnar arena and two factions were divided into it.
One section of Kinnar Akhara is in support of Mamta Kulkarni while the other faction is opposing her. Earlier, Rishi Ajay Das, the founder of Kinnar Akhara, removed Mamta Kulkarni from the post of Mahamandaleshwar and also dropped him out of the arena. Not only this, Mahamandaleshwar Acharya Lakshmi Narayan Tripathi, who gave him the title of Mahamandaleshwar by including Mamta Kulkarni in the Kinnar Arena, was also dropped from the Kinnar Arena and was also taken away from him. There was a dispute in the Kinnar Arena about this, after which two tear in the arena.
