New Delhi. A man threw some liquid on Aam Aadmi Party convener and former Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. This incident happened during a padyatra in Greater Kailash area of Delhi. During this, AAP supporters caught hold of that person and started beating him. Later he was handed over to police custody. It is being told that the liquid thrown on Kejriwal is spirit. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. While AAP leaders have blamed BJP for this incident, BJP has termed it as Kejriwal’s gimmick.

In this video, it can be seen that former Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal is shaking hands with people during the padyatra. Then suddenly a person throws something like liquid towards them. At present the police have taken that person into custody and are interrogating him. On the other hand, Aam Aadmi Party has alleged a conspiracy by BJP in this. Delhi Government Cabinet Minister Saurabh Bhardwaj said that an attempt was made to throw spirit on Kejriwal. He claimed that the man also had a matchbox in his hand and wanted to set it on fire by throwing spirit.

At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party’s Rajya Sabha MP Raghav Chadha has condemned the attack on Kejriwal and called it a cowardly act. Raghav said that Arvind Kejriwal has the blessings of crores of people, no one can do any harm to him. Such incidents have happened with Kejriwal before also. Just three days ago someone had thrown a slipper at Kejriwal’s car. Kejriwal was going to meet the family of the victim of extortion firing in Nangloi. Earlier in 2016, during a program at Chhatrasal Stadium in Delhi, a girl named Bhavana Arora had thrown ink on Arvind Kejriwal.

On the other hand, BJP leader Manjinder Singh Sirsa countered the allegations of AAP leaders and said that Arvind Kejriwal’s drama starts as soon as the elections come. Kejriwal sometimes gets ink thrown on himself and sometimes gets slapped on his face and for this he will hold BJP responsible. Today he was roaming without permission when a bus marshal threw dirty water on him and is calling it a conspiracy of BJP, this gimmick will not work.
