For the first time during the incidents of tension between the Kuki and Meitei communities in Manipur, incidents of bombing and rocket attacks through drones have taken place. The Coordination Committee on Manipur Integrity organization says that Chin-Kuki terrorists have taken refuge in the hilly areas and they are now carrying out major attacks.

The conflict between the Kuki and Meitei communities in Manipur started when the Manipur High Court gave a verdict regarding reservation. After this, there was widespread violence. The tension increased further after two women of the Kuki community were paraded naked. Central forces are deployed on a large scale in Manipur. Apart from this, Assam Rifles personnel have also been deployed here. Even after this, incidents of violence are not stopping. Now the way Kuki terrorists are carrying out attacks through drones and rockets, it is suspected that they are getting modern weapons and training from abroad.
