New Delhi. In the 121st episode of Mann Ki Baat, Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned all the things including apple, a tree mother’s name campaign, first freedom struggle, Champaran Satyagraha. Usually we understand that apple yields are on the mountains, but Shail Teli, who lives in Bagalkot, Karnataka, has grown apples in the plains. In his Kulali village, apple trees have started giving fruits even at more than 35 degrees temperature. Modi also said that saffron is also being produced in Kinnaur, known for apples.

Modi further said that the anniversary of the first freedom struggle will also be celebrated on May 10. The spark that erupted in that first fight of independence later became a pillar for millions of fighters. Just on 26 April, we celebrated the memory of Babu Veer Kunwar Singh, the great hero of the 1857 revolution. These great fighters of Bihar inspire the whole country. The month of May will start in just a few days, in the months of April and May, an unprecedented fight of independence was being fought in the country. The atrocities of the British were at its peak. Referring to the ‘Name of a tree mother’ campaign, the Prime Minister said that it is dedicated to the mother who gave birth to us and is also dedicated to the mother. On June 5, on the occasion of World Environment Day, this campaign will be completed one year. More than 1.4 billion trees have been planted across the country in this one year. In view of India’s initiative, people have planted trees in the name of their mothers. The PM called upon everyone to join this campaign.
