It happened that on the platform of Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, Prime Minister Narendra Modi first pulled his chair to sit on Sharad Pawar. After that Modi picked up a bottle of water on the table and poured water in a glass and gave Sharad Pawar to drink, although Pawar did not feel thirsty so he did not drink water. When Modi pulled the chair for Pawar, the entire hall echoed with a thunderous applause.

Earlier, when Modi was lighting a lamp to inaugurate the program, he called Sharad Pawar forward and grabbed the lamp in his hand and burnt other lamps with his hand.
