New Delhi. All India Imam Association President Maulana Sajid Rashidi has claimed to vote for BJP in the Delhi Assembly elections. He says that for the first time in life I have voted for BJP. I want BJP to win in Delhi. Maulana Rashidi says that he has made his video viral because Muslims are intimidated in the name of BJP and opposition parties say that Muslims vote to defeat the BJP. It has been placed in the minds of Muslims that if they defeat the BJP, if they come to power, then the rights of Muslims will be taken away. I have voted for the BJP to overcome that fear from the minds of Muslims.

Maulana Rashid said that if the BJP government is formed in Delhi, I will show the Muslims and will tell which of my right has been taken away by the BJP for five years. However, he said, it is not that I have joined BJP or I have surrendered in front of him. If any of their policy goes against Muslims, then I will oppose it. I am getting threats and it is being alleged that I have been sold by BJP. There is nothing like this, there is no case against me. My sole purpose is to remove that fear from the hearts and minds of Muslims.
