New Delhi. Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has expelled Dr. Ashok Siddharth, father -in -law of her nephew Akash Anand from the party. Dr. Ashok Siddharth has been in -charge of BSP in the southern states. Mayawati has taken action against Dr. Ashok Siddharth due to allegations of involvement in anti -party activities. At the same time, Mayawati has also shown the way out of the party to former Meerut MP Nitin Singh. Mayawati wrote on the social media post, “The party’s interest due to the BSP, especially in charge of Dr. Ashok Siddharth, former MP Nitin Singh, District Meerut, and being involved in anti -party activities of factional party etc. It is expelled from BSP with immediate effect. Basically, Ashok Siddharth, a resident of Kayamganj in Farrukhabad, has been among the leaders close to Mayawati. It is said that at the behest of Mayawati, she left the government job and joined BSP. Mayawati also made Dr. Ashok Siddharth an MLC in 2009 and 2016. Dr. Ashok Siddharth has also been on the post of National Secretary of BSP.
