New Delhi. Surendra Sagar, a senior leader of BSP, married his son to the daughter of SP MLA Tribhuvan Dutt. It is being told that angry over this, BSP supremo Mayawati expelled Surendra Nagar from the party. Surendra Sagar has been the BSP District President of Rampur several times. He has also been a minister with status in the Mayawati government, while his colleague SP leader Tribhuvat Dutt is currently an MLA from Alapur Assembly. Before this he had also been MP from Ambedkar Nagar.

SP President Akhilesh Yadav also attended this marriage ceremony. The photo of BSP leader Surendra Sagar with Akhilesh Yadav also went viral on social media. It is believed that this made Mayawati angry and she expelled Surendra Sagar from the party on charges of anti-party activities. Not only this, Mayawati also removed Rampur District President Pramod Sagar. In his place, Gyan Prakash Boudh has been made the new District President of Rampur. Gyan Prakash was till now the district in-charge of BSP.

Even before this, Mayawati had taken such action against party leaders. Some time ago, Mayawati had also expelled the party leaders who had attended the wedding of Munkad Ali’s son. Actually, Munkad’s daughter is the daughter-in-law of former MP Qadir Rana and had contested the recent assembly by-election from Meerapur seat of Muzaffarnagar on SP ticket. The marriage took place before the elections, so Mayawati had ordered her leaders not to attend the marriage. But some BSP leaders had attended this wedding ceremony, after which Mayawati had thrown them out of the party by accusing them of being involved in anti-party activities.
