Jhansi Divisional Commissioner and Deputy Inspector General of Police have been instructed to investigate the accident. Expressing grief over the accident, CM has asked for investigation and report within 12 hours.

The first investigation will be done at the administrative level which will be done by the Health Department and the second investigation will be done by the police administration. The fire department team will also be a part of it. Instructions have also been given for a third magisterial inquiry. The causes of the fire will be investigated. If any lapse is found, strict action will be taken against those responsible and no one will be spared. The government is with the families of the children. A fire safety audit was conducted in February. A mock drill was also conducted in June. How and why this incident happened can be said only after the investigation report comes.
