The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an ‘Orange’ alert for rain in the city. The department uses four colors to issue meteorological alerts in the country. The relative humidity was 82 percent at eight thirty in the morning.
According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi’s minimum temperature was recorded at 0.5 degrees above normal 28 degrees Celsius. IMD reported that the maximum temperature of the day is estimated to be 36 degrees Celsius.
IMD has predicted thunder lightning at night, heavy to heavy rainfall and strong wind blowing at a speed of 40 to 50 kilometers per hour.
The air quality index (AQI) 80 and air quality ‘satisfactory’ category was recorded in Delhi at 9 am.
