According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Goa and Maharashtra will have heat and hot winds can also occur during the next 24 hours. During the last 24 hours, Delhi-NCR has recorded an increase of minimum temperature by 03 degrees Celsius and an increase in maximum temperature by 01 degrees Celsius. The maximum and minimum temperatures in Delhi are between 39 to 41 ° C and 24 to 26 ° C respectively.

According to the information given by the Meteorological Department, temperature is being recorded around 43-46 degrees at many places in Gujarat, Rajasthan, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh. Kandla, Gujarat recorded a maximum temperature of 45.6 degrees on Wednesday, the highest in North India. Barmer, Rajasthan recorded 44.3 degrees and Pilani recorded a temperature of 44 degrees. Similarly, the temperature was recorded at 43.7 degrees in Akola and Jalgaon in Maharashtra. Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh recorded a temperature of 44.2 degrees.

Rain alert in these states including Bihar-Jharkhand

The Meteorological Department said that during the next 24 hours, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, Karnataka and central India may receive light to moderate rainfall. During this period, winds can also move at a speed of 40-50 kmph. Bihar and Jharkhand may receive rain today. There is a possibility of hailstorm in some places. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Meghale and Sikkim may rain tomorrow.
