Similarly, the temperature was recorded at 43.7 degrees in Akola and Jalgaon in Maharashtra. Ratlam in Madhya Pradesh recorded a temperature of 44.2 degrees.
Rain alert in these states including Bihar-Jharkhand
The Meteorological Department said that during the next 24 hours, Tamil Nadu, Puducherry, Coastal Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, Kerala, Mahe, Telangana, Karnataka and central India may receive light to moderate rainfall. During this period, winds can also move at a speed of 40-50 kmph. Bihar and Jharkhand may receive rain today. There is a possibility of hailstorm in some places. Sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Meghale and Sikkim may rain tomorrow.
