New Delhi. In Haryana’s Charkhi Dadri, some people beat a migrant laborer to death on the charge of eating beef while another is injured. The name of the deceased is being told as Sabir Malik who was a resident of West Bengal. Sabir used to work as a laborer while living in Haryana. Police has arrested 7 people in this case, including two minors. According to the police, this entire incident took place on August 27 in Charkhi Dadri’s Badhra village. The people arrested by the police include Abhishek, Ravinder, Mohit, Kamaljeet and Sahil. All of them are associated with the Gau Raksha Dal.

According to the police, these people suspected that the migrant labourer Sabir and his friend living in the slums had cooked and eaten beef. When the people of the Gau Raksha Dal reached the slums, they found cooked meat there which they declared as beef. After that these people started beating Sabir and his friend. Then some people of the area protested against this, then these people took Sabir to another place and started beating him, in which Sabir died. While his friend is injured. The video of this incident is also going viral on social media. At present, due to tension, heavy police force has been deployed in the area.

SP Pooja Vashisht herself went to the spot and inspected it and also questioned the people. People of the victim’s side are refusing to say anything about the incident. However, it has not been proved yet whether the deceased and his companion had eaten beef or they were killed only on suspicion of eating beef. Charkhi Dadri police is investigating the entire case along with interrogating the accused. At the same time, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini condemned the incident and said that such incidents should not happen. CM said, we have made a law for the protection of cow. People’s faith is associated with the cow, so when people get the news that this is happening, they become furious.
