Since the formation of the new government in Bangladesh, cases of atrocities on the minority community are continuously coming to the fore. Sanatan Dharma followers living in Bangladesh are requesting help from the Indian Government. Amid the ongoing atrocities on Hindus, a minor girl was caught by the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Tuesday night in Fatehpur BOP area of ​​Chopra block of North Dinajpur district of Bengal. This girl is from Panchagarh district of Bangladesh and is associated with ISKCON along with her family.

Families associated with ISKCON are receiving threats

Family members allege that Hindu families associated with ISKCON in Bangladesh were receiving continuous threats, which especially included threats to abduct the girl child. The minor’s maternal grandfather said that his life was in danger due to the continuous attacks and atrocities on Hindu families in Bangladesh. He told that heinous crimes like rape, murder are being committed against the families associated with ISKCON and Bangladesh is no longer safe for Hindus, hence the minor girl was forced to flee to India.

Trying to cross the border, caught by BSF

The minor was attempting to cross the border to visit her relative’s house in Belakoba, Jalpaiguri, when she was caught by the BSF. Police interrogated the girl and asked her to contact Belakoba’s relatives. After calling the relatives, the police took legal action and later made arrangements to send him home safely through the District Child Welfare Association. (Report- Rajesh Dubey)
