Entry and Khattar in BJP
In 2022, the then Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar included Devendra Babla and Harpreet Kaur Babla in the BJP. Devendra Babla was given the post of Chandigarh District Vice President as soon as he joined BJP. Earlier, he had played the role of Leader of Opposition in the Municipal Corporation while living in Congress.

AAP-Congress strategy failed, cross voting gives BJP win
