Lucknow. SP MLA Pooja Pal in UP has praised CM Yogi Adityanath. During the discussion on the vision document during the UP Assembly session, SP MLA Pooja Pal praised CM Yogi for a policy of zero tolerance towards criminals. He said that CM Yogi Adityanath implemented the zero tolerance policy and gave justice to many women like me. Pooja Pal said this while referring to the death of Atik Ahmed, who was a mafia. Atik Ahmed was accused of killing Pooja Pal’s husband Raju Pal.
SP MLA Pooja Pal in UP Assembly said that everyone knows who killed my husband. He praised CM Yogi and said that he listened to me when no one listened. You look at the entire state of CM Yogi. SP MLA Pooja Pal also said that I raised my voice at the time when I saw that no one wants to fight against criminals like Atik Ahmed. The SP MLA said that when she started getting tired of this fight, CM Yogi Adityanath gave him justice.

Raju Pal was the leader of BSP in Prayagraj (earlier Allahabad) in UP. Raju Pal defeated Khalid Azim alias Ashraf, brother of Atik Ahmed in Prayagraj West seat in the assembly by -election. After which Raju Pal was shot dead on 25 January 2005. 7 people including Atik Ahmed, his brother Ashraf were accused in the murder of Raju Pal. Atik Ahmed and Ashraf were murdered by three youths on the night of 15 April 2024 in police custody. These youths showed themselves a media person and took advantage of this and shot Atik Ahmed and Ashraf, who were taken to the hospital in Prayagraj, were shot nearby. The three youths are still in jail.
