BJP MLA Rivaba Jadeja performed weapon worship
The festival of Vijayadashami is being celebrated with great pomp across the country. On this special occasion, effigies of Ravana are being burnt across the country. On the other hand, weapon worship is also being done. In this series, Rivaba Jadeja, MLA from Jamnagar, Gujarat and wife of famous cricketer Ravindra Jadeja, performed Shastra Puja on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Regarding this, Rivaba Jadeja said that today on the auspicious occasion of Dussehra, I got the opportunity to perform Shastra Puja. My best wishes to everyone for Dussehra.
Rajnath Singh performed Shastra Puja
Let us tell you that earlier, on the occasion of Vijayadashami, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh performed Shastra Puja at the headquarters of an army corps in West Bengal. Rajnath Singh has also given a statement regarding this on social media site X. Rajnath Singh wrote, “India has a long tradition of Shastra Puja on the occasion of Vijaya Dashami. Today I performed Shastra Puja at the headquarters of 33 Corps in Sukna, Darjeeling.” Rajnath Singh has also shared the pictures of this Shastra Puja on Instagram. On this occasion, Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, senior officers and soldiers were also present there.
Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh performed Shastra Puja
Let us tell you that every year Shastra Puja is performed by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Let us tell you that the Sangh was established in the year 1925. This day was Vijayadashami i.e. Dussehra. There is a tradition of worshiping weapons on Dashami. During this, weapons were worshiped by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh on the occasion of Vijayadashami. Let us tell you that during this time, the members of the Sangh make offerings in the Havan and worship the weapons as per the rituals. Arms worship is always special every year in the foundation day program of the Sangh.
