Mock drill
New Delhi: Mock drills will be done under Operation Shield on 31 May in states and union territories bordering Pakistan. It was earlier to be done on May 29 but had to be postponed for administrative reasons. Now the mock drill will be held on 31 May. This mock drill will be held in all western states and union territories bordering Pakistan including Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat.
Mock drills are being organized so that citizens will be cautious about the attacks by the enemy country in future. They should be fully prepared for how to protect themselves in the event of an attack. Explain that there is a border of about 3300 km between India and Pakistan. Jammu and Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan and Gujarat borders Pakistan.
