New Delhi. A resolution was passed against the emergency in the Union Cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi today. During this time, remembering the emergency victims, he was paid tribute to him by keeping a two -minute silence. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi has resolved to remember and respect the sacrifices of countless persons who had bravely opposed the Emergency. It was a demolition that began in 1974 with an attempt to crush the ‘Nav Nirman Movement’ and the ‘Sampoorna Kranti Movement’.

Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav told that three major decisions were taken in today’s cabinet meeting. The expansion of Pune Metro Line 2 was approved at a cost of first Rs 3,626 crore. Second, a revised master plan for Jharia located in Jharkhand, which has been facing problems due to long -term underground fire and land collapse, has been approved with an allocation of Rs 5,940 crore. Third, the establishment of a regional center of the International Potato Center in Agra, Uttar Pradesh has been approved with a budget of Rs 111 crore.

Ashwini Vaishnav said that the metro has expanded rapidly across the country in the last 11 years. Before 2014, only 5 cities had metro systems. Today there are metro networks in 24 cities. The metro network, which was just 248 kilometers earlier, has now increased to more than 1,036 kilometers. India is now counted among the world’s top three largest metro networks. The number of daily riders on the metro network has crossed 1 crore.

Talking about the Ex-4 mission, the Union Minister said that today is a very auspicious day. The Axiom-4 mission, in which our group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla is participating, was successfully launched. On this occasion, the cabinet has passed a resolution under the leadership of our Prime Minister.
