Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the central government has completed 11 years in power and on this occasion the government has released a special e-book titled “11 years of service, good governance and poor welfare.” This e-book has underlined the changes in the social, economic and global scenario of the country in the last eleven years.
The government claims that during this period the country has made unprecedented progress in many regions, including infrastructure, digital India, women empowerment, welfare of farmers, defense sector and India’s credibility on the global platform. According to the e-book, the policies of the government have helped to get more than 25 crore people out of the poverty line, which is considered a major achievement for any government.
The Digital India campaign not only brought technology to the people but also made government services transparent and accessible. Apart from this, campaigns like Startup India, Make in India and self -reliant India showed a new path to the country towards economic self -reliance. Women empowerment has also been given special importance in this report-Bachao Bachao, Beti Padhao, Ujjwala Yojana, Jan Dhan Account and Schemes like Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana have strengthened women’s participation from policy-making to social reforms.
At the same time, the government also claims that India not only gave priority to the safety of its borders in the defense sector but also promoted indigenous production. The e-book also stated that India played a decisive role globally during the chairmanship of G20 and now India’s role in world politics has not only a partner but a guide.
The government wants to convey the message through this document that not only was the last 11 years to stay in power but have been dedicated to service, good governance and poor welfare. This e-book is a government account of changes in the last decade, which has been presented to the public that this government is serious about development and is the common citizen of the country at its center.
