After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir, India is moving one step ahead. The YouTube channel of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif has been blocked in India on Friday amid the ongoing tension between the two countries.

This reason is given to block YouTube channel

A message on the blocked channel wrote, ‘This material is not currently available in this country due to the government’s order related to national security or public system. For more information about the requests for the government to be removed, please see the Google Transparency Report.

Earlier 16 Pakistani YouTube channels were blocked

The government had blocked 16 Pakistani YouTube channels on charges of broadcasting ‘false, inflammatory and communally sensitive materials’ about India earlier this week. The Modi government at the Center had also strongly objected to the BBC reporting on the Pahalgam attack.

Question on BBC reporting

The Pakistani YouTube channel blocked in India includes Don News, Irshad Bhatti, Sama TV, ARY News, Bol News, Pati, The Pakistan Reference, Jio News, Sama Sports, GNN, Ujir Cricket, Umar Cheema Exclusive, Asma Shirazi, Munib Farooq, Suno News and Razi. In addition, the Indian Ministry of External Affairs will monitor the BBC reporting, which called the militants a militant.

26 people killed in terrorist attack

This move of the Modi government has been taken after the recommendations of the Ministry of Home Affairs in view of the terrorist attack in Pahalgam areas of Kashmir on 22 April. 26 people were killed in this terrorist attack. Most of them were tourists.
