New Delhi. The monsoon session of Parliament is going to start from Monday i.e. July 21. The monsoon session of Parliament will run till 21 August. On the occasion of Independence Day on 14 and 15 August, the proceedings of Parliament will not be done. Apart from this, action will not be taken on all Saturdays and Sundays in a one -month Parliament session. According to the information, the Modi government is going to introduce 8 new bills in the monsoon session of Parliament. Apart from this, 7 old bills will be introduced for re -discussion.
The new bills that the Modi government is going to introduce in the monsoon session of Parliament is Manipur Goods and Services Tax (Amendment) Bill, Taxation Law (Amendment) Bill, Jan Vishwas (Amendment in Provisions) Bill, Indian Institute of Management (Amendment) Bills, Land-Heritage Sites and Land Awell (Protection and Maintenance) Bills, Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Amendment Bills, National Sports Administration Bills and National Dopping (Amendment) Bills. These are all very important bills. Due to President’s rule in Manipur, Parliament has to pass the GST bill there.
The monsoon session of Parliament will bring impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma.
Apart from these bills, in the monsoon session of Parliament, the Modi government will also present 7 pending bills for discussion. These are the Indian port bills, income tax bills, re -rehabilitation bill of representation of scheduled tribes in the assembly constituencies of Goa, business shipping bill, coastal shipping bill, sea route by maritime freight bill and landing bill. Apart from this, impeachment motion against Justice Yashwant Verma will also come in the monsoon session of Parliament. To pass this impeachment motion, the Modi government will need a two-thirds majority in the Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha. In such a situation, the consent of the opposition also has to be achieved. However, Justice Yashwant Verma has gone to the Supreme Court against an impeachment motion on himself. The Modi government is preparing to run the proceedings in all the working days in Parliament smoothly. At the same time, the opposition has also planned to surround the Modi government on the claims of Operation Sindoor, Donald Trump and other issues. In such a situation, there can be a lot of uproar in the monsoon session of Parliament.
