Jammu. Jammu and Kashmir has seen an increase in terrorist attacks since June this year. There have been terrorist attacks not only on migrants but also on the army. Recently, terrorists had attacked the construction site of a tunnel and shot dead several workers including a doctor. After which the army and security forces were given free rein to eliminate the terrorists. As a result, the army and security forces have killed terrorists in operations at many places in Jammu and Kashmir, but according to the latest information, more than 100 terrorists are still active in Jammu and Kashmir and they are yet to be eliminated.
So far this year, 61 terrorists have been killed by the army and security forces in Jammu and Kashmir. Encounters are happening every day. According to the latest information, 119 terrorists are currently active in Jammu and Kashmir. Of these, 40 terrorists are in Jammu region and the other 79 are in Kashmir Valley. Out of these 119, 95 terrorists have infiltrated from Pakistan. The number of local terrorists of Kashmir is 24. Of the terrorists who have infiltrated from Pakistan, 61 are active in Kashmir area. Whereas, the number of Pakistani terrorists active in Jammu area is said to be 34. Every possible effort is being made to collect information about all these terrorists in the areas of Jammu and Kashmir and eliminate them.
After the abolition of Article 370 related to Jammu and Kashmir, a large number of security forces and army personnel were deployed there. Due to which there was a reduction in terrorist incidents in Jammu and Kashmir. During that time, a big operation was also launched against the terrorists and many terrorists were killed. Due to the grip of security forces and army, stone pelting has completely stopped in Jammu and Kashmir, but terrorists are once again trying to raise their heads. Union Home Minister Amit Shah has held meetings several times to take effective action against them. It is believed that by the middle of next year, most of the remaining terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir will be eliminated and people there will once again be able to come out of the shadow of fear.
