Anantnag Tehsildar Sajjad Ahmed Wani told PTI-language that a total of 22 houses were burnt in this fire, which caused 37 families to become homeless. He said that the administration is ready to help the affected people.
Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah said that immediate relief and rehabilitation assistance is being provided to the affected families.
