In a village in Kaushambi district, a young man and his mother were killed with an ax on suspicion of alleged illegal connection. The police gave this information on Tuesday.
A police official said that three policemen, including the in -charge of the police station, have been suspended on charges of negligence. Police said that the incident is from Kasu village of Charava police station area on Monday night.
Additional Superintendent of Police Rajesh Kumar Singh said that Shani and Shravan, residents of the village, suspected that Kallu alias Sarvajit Diwakar (22), who lives in the village, had an illegal relationship with his sister.
He told that last night, Shani, Shravan and his mother Shanti Devi attacked Sarvajit’s house. Singh said that the three attacked Sarvajit and his mother Sangeeta (49) with an ax, causing both seriously injured.
Singh said that after the information, the police reached the spot and admitted the injured mother and son to the district hospital where he died during treatment. He said that the bodies have been sent for postmortem. A case has been registered against Saturn, Shravan and his mother in the relevant sections of the Indian Code of Justice on Sarvajit’s father.
The Additional Superintendent of Police said that on the charge of negligence in this case, the station in -charge of Charava, Jagdish Kumar, the in -charge of the outpost and the soldier of the beat has been suspended with immediate effect. He said that one accused Shravan is being interrogated for custody and necessary evidence has been compiled from the spot.
Singh said that Superintendent of Police Brijesh Kumar Srivastava has formed four teams to investigate the case.
