Amar Shaheed Bhagat Singh and his mother
India’s great revolutionary Bhagat Singh was born on 28 September 1907 in Banga village of Punjab province of Pakistan. Shaheed Bhagat Singh’s father’s name was Kishan Singh and mother’s name was Vidyavati. He had a feeling of patriotism in him since childhood, at a very young age he had shown the British the strength of the youth of India, due to which the British were scared. Bhagat Singh was hanged on 23 March in Lahore Central Jail in Pakistan.

Bhagat Singh’s revolutionary stories are heart touching, if you read them, you will have tears in your eyes. When the son grows up, like most families in India, there was always talk of his marriage at home too. His mother was also waiting for his bride but Bhagat Singh loved his country so much that whenever his marriage was discussed at home, he used to say that if my marriage takes place during the rule of the British, then I will die. There will be a bride. Bhagat Singh had also told his mother that after my death, you should not shed tears otherwise people will say that the mother of a brave son is crying.
They will kill me, not my soul.
There is also a famous story about Shaheed Bhagat Singh that when he was in jail, when his mother came to meet him, he was laughing loudly. He told his mother that even if these British kill me, they will never be able to kill my thoughts. They will kill me, but they will not be able to kill my soul.
India remembers the immortal martyrs
Bhagat Singh, Sukhdev and Rajguru, who were fighting against the British, were to be hanged as per the court order on 24 March 1931 at 8 am in the morning, but on 23 March 1931, all three were hanged at around 7 pm. . On March 23, India celebrates Martyrs’ Day in the memory of these three immortal martyrs.
