Ramgarh: A heartbreaking case has come to light in Ramgarh district of Jharkhand. Here a person locked his ailing mother in the house and went to Prayagraj to bathe in Mahakumbh with wife, children and in -laws. The police gave information about the incident on Thursday. Police on Wednesday freed a 65 -year -old woman from a quarter of Central Coalfields Limited (CCL) in Subhash Nagar Colony of Ramgarh police station area. Police said that the woman was locked in the house since Monday and was alive after eating bangles. Neighbors came to know about him when she shouted to help due to hunger.

Daughter informed the police

Parameshwar Prasad, Deputy Supply Police Officer (SDPO) of Ramgarh, said that the elderly woman has been identified as Sanju Devi. He said, “Sanju Devi was closed by her son Akhilesh Kumar in his CCL quarters from Monday. Akhilesh Kumar went to see Mahakumbh in Prayagraj with his family. On Wednesday, he was rescued after his (Sanju Devi’s) daughter informed the police. ” He said that Akhilesh Kumar is a CCL employee.

Police broke the lock and made them free

Another police officer said that Akhilesh Kumar informed the police that his mother was ill and he had gone to Prayagraj after making all his food and drinking arrangements. The woman’s daughter Chandni Devi, who lives about five kilometers from the CCL quarter in Kahubera, said that she got information about the mother over the phone from the neighbors. Sanju Devi told reporters, “The police broke the lock and saved it. Neighbors immediately gave him food. He was also given medicines and admitted to CCL Hospital. ” He said that Akhilesh Kumar got a job in CCL on compassionate grounds and he works in Argada area of CCL in Ramgarh district. (Input-PTI)
