New Delhi. Justice Yashwant Verma, who was surrounded by cash burning, seems to be difficult to grow. 145 MPs in the Lok Sabha and 63 in Rajya Sabha have proposed to impeach against Justice Yashwant Verma. The proposal to remove a judge through impeachment requires at least 100 MPs in the Lok Sabha and 50 MPs in Rajya Sabha. The Speaker of the Lok Sabha and the Chairman of the Rajya Sabha take a final decision on impeachment.
Justice Yashwant Verma has moved the Supreme Court to stop the impeachment action against him. Justice Yashwant Verma has filed a writ petition in the Supreme Court. In the petition, Justice Verma has said that by going against the law, the committee of judges asked him to prove that he is not guilty in the case of cash burning. Justice Yashwant Verma has appealed to cancel the report of the committee of judges in the petition given in the Supreme Court. Justice Verma said in the petition that the committee of judges could not prove that the owner of the cash removed it from the residence. If the Supreme Court gives a verdict in favor of Justice Yashwant Verma, then it may affect impeachment against him.
